Four favorites for December

It's already the end of the month and the end of another year.  Where does the time go?

Four favorites

From left to right:

1. Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance:  I purchased this product at Ulta as I'm spending some time in Palm Desert and my face is so dry. This product has added wonderful moisture to my skin, solved my flakies, and even has anti aging properties such as a stabilized vitamin C.  The lotion has no artificial fragrance or color.  I paid $40 for 1.7 oz.  It's rather expensive, but I wanted a good product that wouldn't cause a break out issue.

2.  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush:  I have been wearing this non stop.  It's a lovely deep berry color.  I like the balms better than regular lip stains as I find stains quite drying on the lips.  The lip stains price around $8.99, but if you look in the Sunday ads, CVS often has Revlon, by one, get one at 50% off.

3. NYX Mega Shine Lip gloss in clear:  I'm a fan of NYX glosses and have a few in my collection.  It's a nice clear gloss, not sticky, but has a fruity scent which I like, but may not be for everyone.  I've been wearing the gloss over the Revlon balm stain.  This gloss is $5.49 at Ulta.

4.  Almay get up and grow mascara:  This is a nice volumizing mascara.  I don't think that it has helped my lashes grow as I'm on my third tube and have not noticed any difference.  It's just a nice mascara that goes on without clumping.  For $7.99 .. it's good enough for me.

Have you discovered any outstanding
products this month?

Happy New Year's Eve,
Monica

    1. Yes, I agree .. $40 is a lot to pay for a moisturizer. But I was in the desert and desperate. I know Dermalogica products are good so instead of wasting more money on a cheaper options (I had already purchased two useless product from Olay and L'Oreal) - I went straight to what I know works :-)
