Four Favorites for February

1. Jergens Natural Glow (Sunless tanner) in Medium to Tan:

Jergens Natural Glow finally made a sunless tanner that doesn't smell horrible after application.  I hardly believed it when I heard a youtube guru say that there was no "after scent" to this lotion.  So I purchased the lotion, thinking that I'm such a loser for listening to a product being hyped on YouTube. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it's a very nice self tanner that gives you gradual color with no chemical scent.  I can't say that it's "firming" or "reduces cellulite" as the tube claims considering that my legs sure do look the same only now I have a hint of color.  I am so ready for summer.

2. Anastasia Brow Gel:

There is literally nothing special about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel other than the fact that it's in a solid tube.  I have used Maybelline's brow gel in the clear tube for half the price and I just can't stand how gunked up the tube looks after a few uses.  So I'm willing to pay a bit more for the solid packaging.

3.  Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze:

I think Maybelline's color tattoo in Bad to the Bronze is a wonderful bronze cream eye shadow.  The product doesn't have the longevity as a Makeup Forever Aqua cream eye shadow, but it can last on my oily lids for about 6 hours.  I usually just use this product on my lid, blend into my crease, add eyeliner, mascara and go.

4.  Milani Color Statement Lipstick in #17 (Plumb Rose):

I love plummy, lilac, pinkish lipsticks and Milani's plum rose is perfect combination of both.  The lipstick does have an artificial fruit scent, but this doesn't linger after application.  I would love to try a few more of these lipsticks, but will probably order online as I've noticed that some "ladies" seem to have sticky fingers and can't keep their finger prints off sampling the product - even though the lipsticks are sealed with a sticker.  Yes, sad but true.

    1. It's a great color .. wish it has slightly more staying power, but otherwise, it's quite good for a drug store product.

  3. Oh the lipstick is pretty! And I hate that! When people swatch and touch products in drugstores.

I just did my Feb favorites too :)

    1. No kidding right? I mean, the lipstick is only $5 .. if you don't like it .. toss it, give it to a friend etc. but don't ruin it for the rest of us :-P
