National Wear Red Day

In honor of National Wear Red Day for heart disease awareness, I recently purchased a red t-shirt with birds flying from a tree.  I love graphic t-shirts and purchased the one below from Etsy.com, the vendor is StarHeartPinkShop.  The shirt is solid red, but looks lighter on the graphic due to the sun.

The StartHeartPinkShop also included the shirt below as a 'gift'.

Half a love shirt
Although it was a nice gesture, I think the flaw is that they gave me half a shirt .. lol.  Which way to the 80's?

Since it's Friday, I wore something casual to work.  The jeans are a few years old from Target, Merona brand, boot cut, Fit 4.  I mentioned in a previous post, where I purchased a pair of trousers for work that Target Fit 4 pants are terrific for the pear shaped gal. 


The photo is cropped oddly as I noticed that Taylor's pooper scooper was in the back ground and no one needs to see that.  Oh, the hazards of taking your own photos.

    1. I was thinking about you the other day as I opened my Macy's delivery. I bought two pairs of heels (booties) and neither size fit (too narrow) .. so sad :-(

      We didn't have to give blood .. it was just a special day to wear red. My office building provided heart shaped bagels (cranberry & whole wheat) - heart healthy foods you know :-)
